Well, maybe not so major, just a 4.8. The way the news and gov't is handling the quake, it's as if major devastation hit the region. Ironically, I'm in New Jersey, about 30 miles from the epicenter and indeed felt it. Pretty good ride, and a long one at 20 plus seconds. That said, I've had larger ones centered pretty much under two different homes in No Cal. . . .
Fortunately, no damage anywhere that I've heard, and it is the largest quake to hit NJ in 140 years. . . .
