A couple of years ago, I sent a congratulatory email to him about his get out the vote work and said that he and I are probably in a select club of people with backgrounds at Georgia Tech, Stanford, and University of Portland. He had a very personable response. I think one of us owes the other a beer and there is no statute of limitations on that.
He's definitely missed in Atlanta.
