This is not one of MTL’s papers but it is considered somewhat seminal in the field and has over 2000 citations.
The irony is that with the approval of lecanemab on the basis of well-conducted clinical trials showing that a drug that clears amyloid slows cogniyive deterioration in Alzheimer’s Disease, the amyloid hypothesis has largely been validated.
