Once again, QB play is our Achilles Heel. Daniels takes 2 sacks and we turn the ball over on downs to ND with a short field.

Why are we going for 4th and 5 at this point in the game? I know it is frustrating to come up *that* short of points, but set your defense up to get off the field quickly and try again on the next drive.

If we are going to go for every fourth down, why don't we adopt that Arkansas high school coach's philosophy and go onside kick every time too (because the analytics say to do that too)?

What works for Texas may not work for us because e.g. we have more of a running QB, our kicker is hurt etc.

I guess that defensive stop on ND's first drive and our impressive first drive were flukes. We are now getting beat in all 3 phases.

Our game management on offense is so bad. Say what you will about his other deficiencies, but David Shaw's strength was situational football.

New center plus new guard and he, Leyer, has never been very good at it.
He basically dove at the rusher’s legs and was easily hurdled/stepped over.
That’s an example of why he lost his starting job at the beginning of the season.
