I think he was Chris Dalman's coach, and Dalman is now the president of Palma. Costa had 253 Career Wins. 16 league titles 6 CCS titles and owned at one time the longest CCS win streak (48 games). He is in the California Coaches Association Hall of Fame, the National High School Hall of Fame and the Salinas Valley Hall of Fame.

He also had an affinity for girls under the age of 18, including the older sister of my high school girlfriend who didn't tell me what happened until years later. Whenever my girlfriend and I were together and he walked by, she would get physically upset and I couldn't understand why until I was let in on the reason. Her sister developed an eating disorder and after years of therapy was able to move forward.
I bring this up because this person is the father of one of Stanford's back up quarterbacks who runs for short yardage first downs and TDs. It's a disgrace that his son gets a Stanford degree.
