My apologies if this has already been thoroughly discussed, but my enthusiasm for Stanford sports has mostly dropped below the level it takes to come here often. 

I am wondering how widespread are two issues I have been having with trying to follow Stanford teams. 

1. Streaming ACC Network game replays. I am not quite sure if it is every game, but certainly a large majority, the end of the game does not appear when streaming the replay of a game. The weirdest part is that the cut off is not always in the same place - I can restart a game and sometimes get a few more seconds. Still, the final couple of minutes of broadcast time and seconds to minutes of game time don't show up. 
Of course this is particularly frustrating for dramatic last second finishes. 

Is this an issue for others? 
Any idea of a workaround? 
[I get ACC Network through Sling, so it's possible it is a Sling problem.]

2. Box scores on the official site. 
On my iphone and when using the Edge browser, the boxscores never show up when I go to load them on the official site. Some other data has trouble as well - for example the season stats in xml often don't load but never an issue with pdf. On Chrome this doesn't seem to be a problem. 
Again, anyone else?

One annoying problem I've seen watching ACC network broadcasts is that when the sideline announcers appear on screen, the audio and video are noticeably out of sync -- the words don't match the mouth movements.

Absolutely, I have the same problem with Sling cutting games off.  Every (or maybe almost every) BB game I've viewed in replay from ACCNx via Sling, or used their auto-record feature, I've had this problem.    One day I tried about 5 different BB games on ACCNx and they all ended a few minutes before the end of the game.   I unsuccessfully looked for any customer service place to complain about this.

Btw, this happens on the Sling app on my (older) Samsung TV and on my laptop via the Sling web site.  For instance, the Stanford @ Wake Forest WBB game is shown as being 1:29:05 long.  When the playback hits 1:29:05, the game clock has 31.6 seconds on it.

I did comment about it here. From what others were doing, I found a workaround.  I go to ESPN.COM website on my computer, hover on ESPN+ at the top, and click on Schedule&Replays, choose the ACCNx channel (rather than ESPN+), choose Replays and the appropriate date.   (There is a login to Sling somewhere in there)

Unfortunately, this runs into another bug (does anyone do QA anymore?  If you aren't going to have real customer service....,).  I find that in Safari, I can't choose the ACCNx channel. When I click on ESPN+, the menu flashes up and is gone immediately.    Arrgghh...



I also have found that, in the cases I've used it, the Sling Auto-Record feature misses the start of the game.  I figure that's probably due to ESPN's decision to chronically overload their schedule so all but the first game of the day loses the first part of the game (1/4 into the game, etc.).

The video controls (pause/resume/skip forward or back) are really bad on the Samsung apps, so using the computer has other advantages.

And, yet another bug in the Sling app on Samsung:  An ACCNx game will just suddenly go black and the controls quit working. No FF or Reverse or Play.  No Back.  All I can do is go to the Samsung home screen,, kill & restart the Sling app, and get back to where I was.  I've only experienced that on the Sling App on Samsung and ACCNx games (randomly in live & replay).   Again, no customer service.

When I go to the GoStanford site for WBB Schedule and click on "Box Score" for some game, I immediately get a screenful with the opponents and score, but that's all, even if I try to scroll.  Some seconds later, the (PDF?) box score gets rendered typically below what you see on your screen.   Unless you have a scroll bar visible, you won't know that anything has eventually appeared below.   Give it some time (5 seconds) and then try scrolling down.

I pretty much have the same problems with both Sling and then Fubo TV.  You are very lucky with either service to get a full game recording for a large variety of reasons. I get access to ESPN (except ESPNU) through my old style cable tv carrier.  Those recordings via the TV provided recorder have been fine.  When the game is on ESPNU I can't watch it. 
Speaking of audio problems is that the press conferences on GoStanford have such terrible audio levels I can't hear them even with my hearing aids and a headsset.  When the press conference on on Youtube, the audio is outstanding.  I have to think the problem is at Stanford's end and no one knows how to handle audio recordings or something similar.  This is the situation for every broadcast.

It's actually worse this year. There used to be 3 mikes for the coach and players. Now there are two (at least for WBB), so it can be difficult to hear them too when there are two players with the coach and they put the mikes between them instead of in front of each one.

I complained about this last year, and someone suggested turning on Closed Captioning.  Works most of the time, certainly better than nothing.
