--Opinions on the candidates to replace Gerhart from their position coach
--How both wins \'07 upset and the \'09 bludgeoning of USC changed the recruiting dynamic. Â Apparently before the upset, Â high school coaches were like the snooty fraternity in Animal House where during rush, they\'d keep sticking the unwanted geeks off in a side room. Â With the Stanford staff HS coaches would steer them to just the kids with good grades who weren\'t great football players.
-- More glimpses of the depth of planning and organization coaches put into teaching football. Â Not much happening by accident or on the fly.
