Or my favorite Wonder Bread fillings/toppings as a kid:
Sugar. (Butter optional.)
Vanilla frosting from a can. (Also used straight - no chaser; see also can frosting on graham crackers - my mom called these "refrigerator cookies"; my wife called me "an idiot" for making these as an adult. Â Vanilla frosting on cinnamon grahams were a kid version of crack. Best served before a Saturday morning cartoon marathon. Â Also tried canned chocolate frosting on Oreos. Mmmmmm....And before I got serious about dieting 3 months ago, I would occasionally frost cookies that were already frosted. Â Shhhhh....)
Jet Puff marshmallows.
Marshmallow cream.
Pop Tarts.
Potato chips.
Other pieces of Wonder Bread. Â (aka Wonder Bread Dagwood; you could put some frosting and marshmallows in there too. Â And maybe some Fritos. My brother and I once ate an entire loaf of Wonder this way. Â So did our dog.)
Back then I did have the metabolism (and reasoning skills) of a hummingbird.
Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working
.I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. Peter Gibbons
