In Fanaika's case, also, I don't think he actually submitted the application until sometime in January, so he bears some responsibility for being in this position. And given the Jontrey Tillman situation, a student would be foolish to NOT keep his options open so he can have a soft landing if he doesn't get admitted. I would think that all the "committed but not admitted" students would be thinking about Tillman's situation right about now. That only makes sense.
Hopefully both Fanaika and Harris are admitted, then they can make their decisions according to what is best for them.
