To be fair, this is hardly "outfoxing". So they brought in 30 guys last year... if you were already under the scholarship limit and sanctions were looming, you'd have to be an absolute idiot to not bring in a big class. And half them red-shirted -- that's probably less than the percentage of freshmen most schools routinely red-shirt anyway (even with top-tier talent).

If anything, the story with SC is the recent exodus of players. The stuff in this article seems to be the sort of roster management you'd expect from any coach.
