...I don\'t know if there is anybody better than Harbaugh at setting the tone and expressing the heart of the mindset. Which, is pretty much what you\'d expect growing up in a tight family that made football their choice in life.
Harbaugh said, regarding the death of Andrew Phillips\' dad, William, in an Alaskan plane crash:
"A sudden, tragic death is the toughest to grieve and you never know how long it\'s going to take. Bill lived a life any man would be proud to have lived. His legacy lives on in his sons."
Also this tidbit that gives some insight into the physical and mental toughness that characterizes the sons. Not only are three of them playing in Div. 1 ball, but the youngest Phillips\' brother, Willie, survived the crash with a broken ankle. The 13-year-old also heroically ran up the mountain to flag down the rescue plane.
