If true. According to that story, the car in which Skov was sitting was not being driven. Skov and others had piled in and were waiting for the designated driver. Skov jumped into the driver's seat and honked the horn to get he guy back to the car. The honking attracted attention and once he cops had arrived, the fine distinctions between being legally intoxicated and sitting in the driver's seat in an unmoving car...and being legally intoxicated and actually driving somewhere...those distinctions disappeared.  I have no idea whether that narrative is true. I can see people rolling their eyes when they hear it.  But if it has been accepted by the staff, that explains why the roof has not fallen in on Skov.  Seems like his knee rehab will be he controlling factor on his playing time.

If the "designated driver" still had them, then that lends more plausibility to his story.

I can't say what people might think if this came out about someone from S.C., but it simply wouldn't happen at Oregon.
Why? Skov's car was in a parking lot.Â
As far as I can recall, every time there has been a vehicle-related problem involving an Oregon player, the vehicle was reportedly going in excess of 75 mph... It's that team speed thing. ;)

I can't say what people might think if this came out about someone from S.C., but it simply wouldn't happen at Oregon.
