ESPN seems to be running a series about which coaches offer the best bang for the buck, and national ESPN writer (and Insider) Travis Haney lists David Shaw as number ten. I don't really care about this, personally, but I thought this tidbit from Mike Gundy was interesting and not something we've heard before:

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, whose team got past Stanford in overtime in the Fiesta Bowl, said he couldn't help but notice how solid the Cardinal roster was from top to bottom, not just Luck. That is why there is a feeling the program will not fall all that far after losing the NFL's top overall pick. Recruiting and development has been a strong area with Harbaugh and Shaw's staffs.

Anyway, good luck to the OK State folks (are they still here at all or did they leave us?) as we both attempt to perform a similar trick.

Also, I understand that Haney was going to rank Shaw higher, but then he spoke with teejers.  :)
