I didn't watch the game, but saw in the box score that Chris Owusu lead 49er receivers with 3 receptions for 35 yards. Hopefully that means he's well positioned to make the team.

Given the competition he faces, it is unlikely that he will be on the 53 man roster. However, I think he has a great shot at making the practice squad. He IS an NFL receiver. The only issue is health.

At the risk of making myself unpopular, I wondered last year about Owusu's ability to catch balls that were contested by both him and a defensive back. Seemed that wasn't there while he was very established as a threat more from the line of scrimmage on short passes.
