Chiney just won Gold for the U.S. in the first world 3x3 championships held in Athens. Her teammates included Skylar Diggins and Bria Hartley and Ann Strother. They had a surprisingly tough last two games, coming from behind in the semis to defeat France by a single point, and then coming from behind in the Gold medal round to defeat Australia by a single point. Â

Nneka was just getting her three by the time she graduated. Sounds like Chiney is already working on it. Chiney's jump shot used to be very limited and it would be good if she continued to expand it.

Its very one-on-one oriented and also every possession counts. It really helps you, because if youre going to take a mid-range jump shot, you might as well make that a three. For a big man, learning how to develop your game on the outside on the international 3-point line, it helped me a lot personally. Other than that, the one-on-one skills and being able to play straight-up defense, really is the key points for three-on-three.
