Last year the WBB schedule was announced on August 15.  Some colleges announce their schedules as early as mid July.  A lot of games have been announced by the teams Stanford will be playing. 

We will play Baylor at a November tournament in Hawaii, apparently.  Going up against Griner without Nneka and before our team has jelled--it will be a learning experience, I'm sure.

In December we go on the road to play Gonzaga, then South Carolina and Tennessee, then come home to play Connecticut a week later.  Our Maples winning streak will be on the line.  Connecticut should be a considerably better team than last year.

Somewhere I thought I saw the Pac-12 schedule.

Still, it is odd that Stanford has not yet released its schedule.  It must be sorting out the last-minute non-conference games that will fill in between the likes of Baylor, Tennessee, and Connecticut.

In any case, this fall sounds very challenging for a team in some transition.

Ah but no schedules Men or Women are final because of the new PAC 12 channel and TV dates. While some PAC 12 teams have schedules up all that I looked at have TBA for times.  While Stanford WBB knows their schedule they don't know all times and they may have date changes. 

For the Men St Louis just cancelled so we need a game. 

Many games on TV for both teams this year so be patient.

We are currently at + 7 days over last year for the release of a WBB schedule.

Thanks Bob for the explanation.    If this delay really is caused by the PAC 12 channel then when will the TV times be clear enough to allow the publication of a real schedule?  Or will we simply not know when the games will be played until a scant few days before each game?

I have been able to piece together a partial schedule.  Most schools have posted tentative schedules but I could not find reports from  USC, ASU, CAL, OSU, WSU, so it looks like I've got a little more than half the games.  I'll edit this post as more information comes out.

Thanks BobK.  University of Hawaii has posted the three games that Stanford will play in in their tournament and some times, but other than that it looks like I can't add anything to your schedule. 

What on earth is the reason that our two Kal games are two days apart???

Cal games?  Don't know and can't believe either team wanted this.  But I will gues it has all to do with the season being one week shorter than the last few years which the coaches did want.  They wanted the PAC 12 tourney to not be the same time as the Men's.

Yes. All the travel partner pairs are playing their games back to back like that this year. I heard somewhere it was done to compress the season by one week so that the tournament could be the week before the mens'. I hope they can do it a different way next year.

Baylor, Gonzaga, South Carolina, Tennesee, and Connecticut all before Christmas.  Wow.

We will rapidly find out how well the team can adjust to the post-Nneka era.  Sadly, all those interesting games are away until the big Connecticut moment.

It is now September 1, 15 days after the publication of last year's women's basketball schedule.  At the football game last night the board announced that women's season tickets are now on sale, and yet there still is no posted schedule of games on the official site.  Not even with "TBA" for times.  Bobk's list is currently the only schedule I have seen, unless you consult the plentiful schedules published by other schools.

Isn't this getting a little out of hand?  At what point does this become embarrassing to the program?  Is the program still in negotiation with other teams to finalize the schedule, or is it just waiting for TV times to firm up?

I didn't see surprises.  The Fall part of the schedule is pretty brutal.  The back to back K.al games are highly annoying.  I really don't like not playing all the other teams in the conference equally.  But all of this was expected.
