The defense is absolute beast mode (save for the 2-3 big-ish plays that we are used to), and the offense does not suck, which is more than we could say against UW or ND. Still, it is so frustrating to see all those mistakes, like some silly penalties, and easy throws missed.
Oh well, this is what we have. It really does not look like we could screw up this Big game, could we?

No way I sign on to that, I'm afraid, though it is tempting. Qal has a magic angel dust that can come into play at odd times. I could celebrate prior to the end... But not now...

Or at least on our defense. Cal has had two drives in the second half for a grand total of -11 yards.

Still 21-3 at the end of 3 quarters.
We're kind of letting the Bares hang around, but I refuse to believe the defense is going to lose it and let them get three scores in the 4th.
I would feel better though if we got another TD to really put the game out of reach.

No mercy. Although D has played extremely well, C.al offense has the ability to score quickly. I've seen weirder things happen in the Big Game. Dang, I wish we had converted on FGs or that last possession.

Game balls to entire Stanford D and Stepfan Taylor. Nice effort. Now we need to figure out how to convert in the red zone. OSU, UO, and UCLA are still out there. Chance for this to be a very good season despite offensive woes to date.
