Don't forget, I was also the person who thought Tom Holmoe was a good choice. If you are going to pull out some of the old stuff, make sure that you pull it all out.
By the way, why not drag out some of the old strings about Buddy and Walt in which the regulars here defended the coaching acumen of those two guys while you are at it. They would also be some fun reads.

No doubt Tedford DID save Kal football from a fate worse than Holmoe. What seems odd is how the QB guru has whiffed on QBs , how the team seems to trip over its own internal forces. But maybe Zach Kline is the real deal and he'll be throwing to Harper who also seems to be the real deal, and Treggs, who has the speed and potential, if not the gift for estimating distances.
I honestly don't know how coach Ted>ford fine-tunes a team to perform. One of the great satisfying memories for Stanford fans was kal's whole team coming out for the Big Game coin toss in 2010. They were all mouth and taunting and jumping around and obviously filled with holy-ghost spirit...until they got royally pimp-slapped. And then there was the 2009 Big Game where they just took care of business: in an away game, against a team with both Toby Gerhart and Andrew Luck. Go figure.
Speaking of getting the team to perform, last season we saw Maynard and friends yukking it up on the sidelines in the closing minutes of the Holiday Bowl loss to Texas. Yesterday, late in the game we got a shot of kal players on the sideline smiling and laughing in the closing minutes of Big Game. These players are kids so maybe laughter is the only way to respond to lopsided losses. Or, it could be a symptom. Â
