Kids in the Hamptons get bogus ADHD diagnoses to help them focus in school, or so goes the "conventional thought."  If they're making movies about it, then it has to have been happening for a while.  Undergrads at UT apparently use it to study and cram.

I gotta say, Adderall is pretty darned beneficial. You feel more confident and pumped, your mind works quicker, and your body feels like all synapses are firing more quickly and powerfully. Your physical movements are sharper, stronger, and more explosive.

I assume that Adderall and pseudoephedrine and others are probably in the category of, "doesn't matter if you have a legitimate need for it, it's still a PED and you can't be on it while playing."

So it appears adderall is allowed, but you need more than just a prescription. Also posited that most of the positive tests are from using it as a party drug.
