Not true. Home team has the option of wearing whites in some conferences. LSU often wears white at home, to pick one example.

Not sure these are "major" but you don't see helmet stickers in the pros. Also, you always have names on the back -- it is not optional. Last thing I can think of is uniform numbers; it seems like there is more freedom in college (e.g. the kicker can be 99).Â

NFL players have to pull their socks up all the way to their knees. College players don't.

Deep red gets the prize! NFL players are required, and will be fined if their socks do not reach their knees. College players almost invariably have bare legs.
