When our kids were little I confronted the problem of pandemonium in the car pool.  NPR helped a little but the latest revelations about Bill and Monica in the oral office weren't quite right for 6-year-olds.  Then I found a wonderful Robert Burns CD and we would sing along to the likes of this:
