I was enjoying a re-viewing of the Rose Bowl the other day. A few TV shots that always get me thinking, I had a chance to noodle on longer:

... There is mason up in the booth, looking focused.
... check out the low-cost "xerox paper and tape" solution to keeping press box neighbors from watching the defensive coordinator run his game. The Rose Bowl could spring for a curtain.
... In the lower right, someone has crinkled something furiously... perhaps after wisconsin's passing TD :) ...
... at first glance, the play reference sheet that his assistant is poring over seems to be all black and white, maybe a more in-depth version than:

I love thinking about the giant cheat sheet, and the mini versions that QBs have on their wrists. Who in the athletic department is the one with the genius for the tiny fonts? Another shot I have of shaw shows him ambling off to the locker room -- just him and the cheat sheet. It's his one game time possession, kind of like the nuclear football. Kind of wonder if someone with bad ethics and a telephoto lens could glean some insight from it.

Nobody thought to fling a lei, a large pot-leaf bandana, or a shaven-headed barbie doll his way? ... I guess it's actually just on blue-screen...
