However, I do fear that the annual NCAA team title run is in jeopardy. And that is a string of success based on an actual set of championship accomplishments.
If either run were to end this year, it should present an excellent opportunity for our AD to really sound the alarm. There should be a passionate call for more alumni financial support and undergrad community support for all of the sports that are not played in Stanford Stadium. Sadly, that might be a hard message for any first year AD to deliver since that person would lack the time in the community that would be needed to really personalize the call to action.
