Rodgers started all 12 of WSU's games as a redshirt sophomore in 2012 and played every position on the offensive line except center. He missed all of spring practice this year while recovering from an undisclosed injury, but figured to compete for playing time if he returned healthy in the fall.

WSU coach Mike Leach touted the team's bolstered offensive line depth throughout the spring, noting that the Cougars were able to field two full five-man units, something they couldn't do last year when injuries and defections hurt their numbers.

Sounds like a moderate blow to the Cougars.

And then there's the transfer RB that wasn't.

Jenkins declared his intentions to transfer to the Cougars in January in order to finish off his playing career as a potential starter, rather than a reserve at the UA. But early this month, family issues caused Jenkins to come back to Tucson and continue playing for Arizona.

Jenkins is probably going to back up All-American Ka'Deem Carey at the RB position.  Note that the Daily Wildcat initially spells the name "Ka'Deem Carry."  Good job Daily Wildcat...not like your job is to really focus on Arizona sports or anything.

Back to the effect this has on WSU--Mike Leach's teams don't need no stinkin' RBs.  It's the Cougar Air Raid show now...as evidenced by the stats from their spring game, wherein both teams were led in rushing by their quarterbacks.
