Ouch...
Taking a page from the Men's Golf playbook this year [albeit at the Championships rather than the Regional], the Women's Golf team apparently saved their worst for last, moving from tied for 5th at the halfway point [6 shots out of 2d], to 7th after three rounds [but only 6 shots out of 3d], to ... tied for 13th at the finish [27 shots out of 3d]Â ???
Perhaps more significantly [at least with respect to the ongoing Directors' Cup angst], after three rounds we were 16 (!) places [and 23 strokes] ahead of Florida, but we finished only four places and five strokes ahead of them. Bummer...
USC lapped the field, winning with a -19 to second place's +2 [and our +48].
