On Thursday, June 27, Stanford University libraries is sponsoring a conference on Estonian archives and cultural reasearch. At 4:30 will be the opening of an exhibit on the 1949 deportations.

As a first generation American of Estonian heritage, this is probably of more interest to me than most. But some folks may at least be interested in the exhibit at Hoover. This is an example of the broad range of interests promoted by our favorite university.
