I am happy to see us start building the 2014 class.  Kaylee looks interesting--apparently the best player in Wyoming and a 4.0 student.  But I'm interested in your personal take (BobK) on her skills and potential, given that I think you have seen her play.  Wyoming, after all, is a very small place.

A 6'1" guard/forward.

Athletic achievement: Johnson averaged 18 points, 13.9 rebounds, 5.9 blocks, 3.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game, leading the Fillies (22-4) to the Class 4A semifinals. Also the 2011-12 Gatorade Wyoming Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Johnson led Class A in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.

"She has faced multiple junk defenses in an attempt to slow her down and she responded by distributing the ball and being a selfless teammate. Overall, she is a great kid and a coach’s dream."

Kaylee the younger is a 5/4 at 6-2.  In one game I saw she blocked more than 10 shots.  In another fewer blocks until the last 6 minutes or so when she had 3-4 stand up and cheer blocks.  Per Clay 's report I posted she didn't shoot from more than 10 feet but brought the ball up court and from outside drove the hoop very well.  Nice FT shooting.  Really under the radar but a very exciting player.  The games I saw were against very good players. 

I loved McPhee.  One of the best HSers I have ever seen taking the ball to the hoop.  Great handle and super elevation.  She is very athletic.  Slim like the well known model she is.  Dad played with John Stockton at Gonzaga.  Twin sister is also a fine player but also a Stanford level distance runner.  Grades and all not a problem it seems.
