I'm not totally sure I know what it is, although I suspect it has something to do with how we should not take what we read on Bleacher Report as though it has come down from the mountain on stone tablets.

The purpose of BR is to write interesting heds that will attract surfers to click through on slideshows, which will show lots of ad impressions in hopes of getting lots of clickthroughs.

Is that different from any other web media?
That was actually one of the more informative BR reports I've ever read, but still probably not worth the '1's and '0's used to deliver it.

I know the site is usually all noise, but there is some signal here. Based on this article, maybe they've gotten the message about the click-thrus for each paragraph.Â
For those that refuse to go the site, here's the signal. Rosen says he doesn't have a Stanford offer, but expects it soon. 2 questions later he lists Stanford as a school that leads that he has an offer from. He also says Mora is the coach he's closest to.
