It's quite remarkable to see Pete Alamar, a guy who was reviled by Cal fans for sucking as a Special Teams coach, to be overseeing one of the best Special Teams units in the country at Stanford.
The only thing that has changed is at Stanford he works under David Shaw and at Cal he worked under Jeff Tedford. Draw your own conclusions.
