What we knew on the Cardboard some time ago is now official, it is Brittany McPhee, Kaylee Johnson, and Taylor Rooks.

Brittany McPhee, who BobK really likes, is a 6' wing who Tara says "is a scoring machine." I hope so. She has also worked as a fashion model and if you peruse her work you come away thinking she is going to need to hit the weights. She says she had her eye on Stanford since the 5th grade.
Finally, the last addition to the class was Taylor Rooks. We speculated a lot on this board on whether Tara would fill this third slot. She won a Gatorade player-of-the-year honor for New Jersey, and average 27 points a game. Several of us were surprised and very pleased that Tara landed Taylor toward the end of the recruiting cycle.

Quote:Setsuko Ishiyama Director of Womens Basketball Tara VanDerveer announced the signing of Brittany McPhee, Kaylee Johnson and Taylor Rooks to National Letters of Intent WednesdayWhat is going to be very interesting is the addition of a 6'3" (or is it more?) post named Kaylee Johnson. Good grief, the announcers will go bezerk when the inevitable happens and Kaylee Johnson goes in for Kailee Johnson. She had 15 blocks in one game. She is a little under the radar since she played in Wyoming. It will be hard to know what she can do until she steps onto campus and practices.

Quote:Taylor is a versatile, strong body that can play the two or the three positions, noted VanDerveer. She can rebound and score at a fast pace, and she also brings a solid defensive game into our fold.
