Do you mean Anthony Wilkerson? Also, didn't Eubank come in on 4th down for the sneak? Or was he lined up at RB or something dumb?

Earlier in the season, I made some comments about Hogan telegraphing his throws and throwing where the receivers are, not where they will be. I have to take back everything I said. Tonight, Hogan looked like a first tier QB. He wasn't telling the D where the ball was going ahead of time and he lead the receivers perfectly, particularly on long throws. He didn't thow a lot, but he threw very well. Of course the receivers, particularly Cajuste, also did their part really well.

For those who like their replays compressed, P12TV is running the game in 60 min, at 6 and 10 pm pacific Sunday. ESPN is running the 2 hr. version this morning at 1:30 am. I assume ESPN3Â is an option if you don't need HD.

I am loving our receiving corps. At the start of the season, they were a weak spot, and yes, there were moments throughout the season when we had a tough time in the passing game, but look what we've got going into next year:
- TY Montgomery (assuming he doesn't bolt to the NFL) - a strong receiver with great speed, decent hands and ability to stand up in traffic
- Cajuste - a match up mightmare for any defensive back with his TE size and WR speed and great hands
- Jordan Pratt - the guy made some solid catches in traffic, great hands, obviously mature
- Kodi Whitfield, Francis Owusu, Kelsey Young - young burners with bame breaking potential and decent hands.
And we have a QB who was third in the nation in completion percentage in throws of 20+ yards coming back. If some of the frosh TEs who are redshirting develop into short yardage threats, we could have a better passing game than 2011.
I also loved the way Kevin Hogan just comes out and ignores the naysayers, throws deep, makes decisions confidently and leads the team. It looked like he changed the play at the line of scrimmage a couple of times to take advantage of the 1:1 match ups on the outside. It was a joy to watch.
Gaffney was fantastic, goes without saying, but I think the OLine was as deserving of the Player of the Game trophy. Most of Gaffney's big yards came from great run blocking (and his vision and patience.) HIs patience is also an underrated skill. He really lets the play develop.
Love this team.

Whether or not we get a TE to step up next year (and I'm cautiously optimistic on that front), we should see a three WR formation -- with Cajuste in the slot, where he is a huuuugggee matchup problem* -- a lot next year.
(Note that both of Cajuste's catches came when he played in the slot. On the 79-yard one ASU inexplicably decided to match him up with a linebacker one-on-one. At least N.D. had the good sense to bracket him.)
