In my estimation, Stanford played much worse on offense than UConn did.  The equalizer was that Stanford had the interior size advantage with Powell and Nastic, and played better defensively.  UConn was forced to take many contested shots.

So as much as the offense was brutal, it is a bit heartening to see Stanford play tough defense on the road against a Top-10 team.

Twitter pundits noted that UConn was having trouble with Stanford's size.  If Stanford had played some offense to go with that defense, then I'm sure it would have been a massive win.  But hey, can't complain about the job they did in the 2H.
