Many of you may not follow the WNBA much, but Magic Johnson and others are the new owners of the LA Sparks. This is a major statement and the biggest owner that they could have. That means Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker will still be playing for the LA Sparks, one of the eight founding teams of the WNBA. Thrilled for Nneka.

The Warriors wanted the Sparks but hopefully they'll get their own team.

Many of us travelled to LA to watch Nneka play her rookie year with the Sparks and with Chiney joining the league next year, we may be traveling down to watch them play head to head for the first time.
