JaimeJamie Z is a Stanford grad who used to run the 6th man club, back when it was a club worth running.  He has since gone on to bigger and better things, most recently as the WCC conference commissioner.  Now he is back as Larry Scott's deputy, and possible successor.  I know he was an outside shot at taking over as AD when Muir was hired.  Congrats to JaimeJamie and welcome back to the Pac.

I'm very happy for Jamie Z.  I worked with him back during his 6th man days when he was running the org from the AD's office.  I was an undergrad volunteer helping organize various 6th man activities.  Had Larry Scott called me for a reference, I would've vouched for him (for whatever that's worth).  If he ends up being Scott's successor for the PAC-12 commissioner spot, there's a fair chance he may even remember who I am.  Does that get me any 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon points?  :)
