BC,
The Rick Patino move to Louisville does count and I know plenty of Kentucky fans that think less of Patino for it.  Yes, it's a business, but there are plenty of options for good coaches.  Monty (and Patino) was free to make the moves they made, but it will always take away from the luster of his Stanford tenure for me. To each his own and I would say the same if I were a Cal alum and he left Cal after a great tenure to go to Stanford. Has Stanford hired a Cal coach recently in a money sport? Maybe we would with Esquer, bu that's very different as he's a Stanford man. Would Coach K go to the Tarheels? No. Â
