I agree that he added the most value, but this methodology understates it. We are still reaping the benefits of his association with the program and his role in its turnaround. The only other program that similarly benefits from a former player might be aTm. The other schools were either powers before, or I'm skeptical that because so and so went there, other players will go there now (e.g. Russell Wilson).
