Last December, we created a private board, which facilitated ticket exchanges and purchases for those who had been unable to buy Rose Bowl tickets from the Stanford allotment. The board is limited to those who have posted 100 or more messages; however, we created the category of "faithful lurker" to enable long-standing members who hadn't posted much to gain access to the tickets. I've just gone through and removed members who have not signed on to the CardBoard in the past three months, as well as those who have since completed the minimum 100 posts.

After Oct 15, the Faithful Lurker category will be removed except for extremely rare situations (Don Bunce's daughter, for example). Theses steps are designed to both encourage posting, and to create a private area available to active, established members, where they can post occasional discussions not open to the general public.
