The pac-12 blog over at espn is predicting that Hogan will be the most improved player in the conference. These are the same experts that unanimously picked oregon to win the division and conference titles.

It seems to me that if Hogan is going to be most improved, this means the O line plays well, and that Stanford wins the conference.

I've definitely predicted a bunch of wrong things in the past. For example, if you'd told me Hogan would be at 8.92 YPA last year, then I would've been planning my trip to Pasadena -- and not on January 1. So, if he's most improved, that would suggest a high, high level of production -- top 5 QB in the country, I would say. And in that scenario, given our other players, we'd have to be pretty unlucky not to be in the playoffs.

So I'm guessing this particular accolade is due to their underestimation of Hogan's 2013 level.
