Has Oregon looked bad or is WSU just getting lucky or something else entirely?

The Ducks tend to be a second half team.
We'll see what happens, but I'll be surprised if they don't put on their usual second half surge and win this going away.

Dunno, man. Duck defense looked very suspect in the first half, plus their patchwork O-line is having problems protecting Mariota. Cougs (fans and team) have been amped up so far.

Why do you say that? Seems to me if we want to win the conference, it'd be helpful to have more margin for error.

I hadn't considered that Oregon losing one lets us lose another non-Oregon game and still get into the PAC-12 CG. I was only thinking of losing to Oregon, where we'd need them to lose 3, which is unlikely. I mean, if they lose to WSU then we should kill them.

Couple of WSU fumbles bounce Oregon's way. Oregon, with a +6 TO margin this year, has probably been benefitting from some TO luck.

It's strange -- Oregon under Helfrich really leans on Mariota to run to bail them out of tough situations, in a way they didn't need to with Chip.

38-31 for the ducks late in the 4th. This game could easily come down to who has the ball last. Oregon does not look like a top team.

Cal was winning 31-13 at the end of the third quarter. Arizona manages to score FIVE touchdowns and a field goal in the last quarter, including 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes of the game. The winning drive started on their own 14 yard line with 45 seconds to go and ended as time expired. I almost feel sorry for the bears.

Looks like Wazzu did end up giving them a tight game, Maybe the Ducks are vulnerable this year. I hope so, because I think our chances of beating them in Eugene and winning every other conference game to get to the championship contest are a little shaky.

Looks like Wazzu did end up giving them a tight game, Maybe the Ducks are vulnerable this year. I hope so, because I think our chances of beating them in Eugene and winning every other conference game to get to the championship contest are a little shaky.
