Interesting feature on Shaw & Sherman's relationship

Quote:Starting corner Wayne Lyons asked specifically about knowing when it's time to turn and look for the ball, to which Sherman replied: "When they look, you look. I've been living off it."
Oof. I'd think Lyons should know that by now.

He promptly forgot that lesson Saturday. The Wayne Lyons development experience has not been what was originally hoped for.

Well, before Saturday I thought Lyons was looking much better.
It is perhaps ironic given that quotation, that Lyons' biggest problem on Saturday seemed to involve not looking for the ball properly.

I thought he'd been solid. Was targeted by SC on some slants, a route which seems to be his personal bete noire.

Richard Sherman clearly hasn't read the message boards. If he had, he'd realize that Shaw is the worst coach since Teevens. He'd know that he's arrogant and stubborn, and wants to do things his way at the expense of the team.

"Richard Sherman clearly hasn't read the message boards."
True. But I'll bet Sherman hasn't watched many Stanford games, either.

Oh he and many other former players watch. They tweet before, during, and after games.
Sherman has even come to practices.

Yeah, if he did he would've seen two consecutive conference championships and felt great shame to be associated with such a team.

If he has lately, he knows he's got to stay on Lyons's case...(I just read the OP article)
