Oregon State looks incredibly tough this year--I think tougher than C.al. And we only play them at their home. They look like the Canadian National team.Â
It is very sad to see Arielle Roberson bitten by the ACL bug.Â
I think C.al may be overrated and UCLA underrated. UCLA will get better as its outstanding recruiting classes mature. Are all their injured players from last year back? If so, they could be trouble. As for C.al, I just have never thought that Gray and Boyd were quite as special as some have. But of course the team is excellent and C.al remains a threat.
As for us--I can see us running away with another championship or reaching a low in the Vanderveer era, depending almost completely on how well our sophomore bigs do this year. I don't think anyone--the players or Tara and certainly not the fans--know how improved they might or might not be. Only when we discover how well they can fill the Chiney vacuum will we have an idea about this season.

It's going to be a very interesting November.
On the Pac 12 show today Tara said we would run more and play as many as 8-9-10 in the rotation. The staff meet with three different NBA and WNBA coaches over 3 different days to discuss the transition for dominent post to running more. Of course most of us remember the 90s we we ran a lot.Â
UCLA just lost Trapp their 6-9 Post for at least the Qtr for personal reasons. Of course she is a big project. USC lost Crook, asked to leave the team.Â
