I looked at most of the rankings from last week. Â In most cases, Wisconsin has some potential to gain more than Stanford. Â However, in many cases LSU should stay ahead of Wisconsin, and that will help. Â Stregnth of schedule and conference power is hurting Wisconsin a lot. Â We shall see, but the relative gain in the human polls should win out even if Wisconsin gains a bit in the computers.
Better yet the BCS invite politics really are not in play. Â The teams that will be ranked #5-#8 would all be going to BCS games too, so we should not see that odd lobbying.
#4 is looking viable.
Most Likely - Fiesta
Possible - Rose
Unlikely but possible - NCG, Orange, Alamo
The realm of possibilities just looks great. Â All in all, it was a very good weekend.
11-1 - Amazing. Â The team blanked 25% of the teams on the schedule or to put it a different way in conference games they blanked the opponent 33% of the time. Â Outstanding.
To think the team is still literally closer to the BCS championship game than the Alamo bowl is almost unbelievable.
