We are a #4 seed playing Ca.l State-Northridge, with a potential Oklahoma matchup in the 2nd round and a N.D. Sweet 16 game.  I would love to see that; when was the last time we played N.D.?  I don't think I've seen this matchup since I started watching Stanford wBB 10 years ago.

I hope Tara has worked on our offense during this 2 week break between the Pac-12 tourney and the start of the NCAA tourney.  We cannot afford these periods of 4-5 minutes where our offense doesn't show up.  We have to put together better offensive possessions rather than just burn 20 seconds and then have Orrange or Thompson try to create something.  It probably will work against Northridge and maybe even against Oklahoma, but no way against N.D. with Jewell Loyd and former Stanford recruit Brianna Turner.

I think they have a very tough first round match up against the Wichita State Shockers

I am absolutely disgusted with how the committee treated Princeton.  See this Graham Hays article:

I am pleased for us, however.  And while this may not be a popular thing to say, I would probably be content if we just made it to the sweet 16 this year.  Given everything that has happened, that would be a good accomplishment for us.  If we knocked off Notre Dame (and given that we did defeat Connecticut that is not entirely implausible) then of course I would be ecstatic. 

Sadly for me, I will be out of town again and will have to miss both games.  I will count on the rest of you to do an excellent write-up and analysis so I will know what really happens!

All games will initially be broadcast on ESPN2, which generally means they'll be available for replay on ESPNU two or three hours after the game ends. You should be able to watch them anywhere you have access to the Internet -- at your leisure, as they're posted for several weeks.

Of course, it would be much better to watch them live at Maples.
