Thank you for that link. Well worth reading. So many great innovators are perfectionists, and they are invariably unhappy people. Illuminating and sad. Now I think I need to read Walsh's first book.

That's a great read. The part about the high school kids being chastised after a win resonated with me...sometimes you can lose the forest for the trees. And the NFL ethos may be applied too early to high school kids.
I wonder if someone could talk Craig Walsh into at least scanning all of his dad's notes into e-document form so that they can at least be better preserved.

Yep great article, somebody could make a pretty good movie from that.
But it's weird for me to realize that from now on my main image of Walsh... Smart thoughtful genius... is basically going to be permanently pushed aside by the image of an unhappy guy. But if that's reality, then there you go.
