We've heard about athletes stepping up their play in their last year of a contract or in their last year of college. It's well-timed because their high-level performance is right before they get a new (or first) pro contract.
What about athletes stepping up for their redshirt junior year to secure another year of college scholarship. I'm thinking about Jordan Watkins, Nate Lohn and Dontonio Jordan. These guys have not made significant contributions in their first three years, so it's now or never. There are opportunities at DL and WR. I'm looking forward to seeing these three guys step up.
