Good for Nate, going from undrafted free agent to winning a starting role!

The article notes that even though this is his 2nd year, at 22 he's still younger than 8 of their 10 draft picks this year.
Wonder how he is doing in the locker room.
Wow, congrats to him! Seems like we've had success with UDFAs of late:

Doug Baldwin: Seahawks legend.
Johnson Bademosi: Has been in the league forever as a STs ace and situational DB.
Michael Thomas: See Bademosi, plus a multi-year team captain on STs for different teams and a major difference-maker in the community.
Josh Mauro: 7th season in the NFL as a rotational DL. Has made ~$7m in his journeyman career. Not too shabby.
Brennan Scarlett: Started 10 games at OLB for the Texans last season due to injuries and signed a one-year $2m extension for this season.

And now Herbig picked up his first start and the Eagles seem to like him. Hopefully he'll stick.

Other UDFA notables:
- James Vaughters is on the Bears' 53-man roster.
- Quenton Meeks saw time for the Jaguars last season due to their injury situation and is now on the Chargers' practice squad.
- Other current UDFA practice squad members: Trenton Irwin (Bengals), Alijah Holder (Broncos, switched to safety)

Will be interesting to see the after game Stanford Alumni group photos from the Eagles vs Giants game.
