Wassie decommitted from Washington and was pursued heavily by usc
Max Meier, 3-star from Loyola of Los Angeles.  247 lists him as an edge rusher.
Wisconsin wants him, as well as West coast schools.  Harvard wants him too, so i'm somewhat optimistic he'll get past admissions.

List of offers includes SC, UCLA, Wash, Ill, Neb, and a bunch of others according to 247. Are there lists usually accurate?

Other places rate WR commit Daylen Sharper 3*.  His offer list does look like high 3 or low 4.

Stanford has the #24 ranked recruiting class in 2026 right now per 24/7.  When was the last time that happened for a team that doesn't know who its coach will be?!?

Nice pick up for the Cardinal. A 4* CB or safety from Georgia.

Top lineman commits

Miami, Michigan and Notre Dame wanted him.
listed at 6'4" 260.......exactly the kind of kid we need.
That's a good selling job to get a top recruit to commit without knowing who his head coach / DC / position coach will be next year.
These days even a LoI means little. Easy enough to show up on campus on the spring, find out your coach, and transfer in time to be the starting QB somewhere else by fall.

Even if he shows up on campus in the fall, the key is whether he is still on the team in 2028 and 2029, when d linemen have grown into their maximal impact.

Sadly, recruiting freshmen barely matters any more.

4* QB from San Diego County Troy Huhn has decommitted from Penn State. He just received an offer from Stanford. Fingers crossed.

Just watched a couple of interviews from before his decommitment - one's included below. Seems like a great kid, leader and person. Has only been playing QB since 9th grade but has a high ceiling. Very articulate as well - reminds me very much of AL in a lot of ways, & I could see them getting along quite well. He had an A-list offer sheet for his initial recruitment so we're late to the game and still in the early stages of rebuilding - yeah, fingers, eyes and everything else crossed on this one.
