By the way, it turns out C.AL put the infamous "Screw of \'82" video on their section of Apple\'s ITuneU (the free university section of ITunes).
So you can get the video of The Play downloaded for free to your IPod directly from Cal and then turn this little piece of propaganda against them. "See here\'s where Garner\'s knee hit the ground and here\'s where Ford\'s lateral to Moen clearly went forward". GaryT can also relive his moment of fame and point out that really he WAS mugged, perfidiously blind-sided and had no chance to tackle the ball carrier no matter what he confessed to the following year under duress. All while staring at a not-so-blurry video on a small IPod screen.
I suggest you turn the sound way, way down unless you like hearing Joe Starkey hyperventilate and nearly go into a medical emergency. Why torture yourself - we all know he lives through it and God didn\'t respond with the well deserved bolt of lightning for blasphemy.
And again, it\'s all FREE so you won\'t be supporting the Bears in any way other than your California tax bill for those unlucky enough to live in our cash strapped yet over-taxed state.
Can\'t provide a link to ITunes but it\'s easy to find.
ITunesU >>> UC Berkeley >>> Campus Live-Sports >>> Football Tab >>> "The Play"
(If anyone knows how to give a link to an ITunes page, I\'d appreciate the add.)
In 1938 Neville Chamberlain declared "Peace in our time", Superman first appeared in Action Comics, Seabiscuit beat War Admiral ....... and C.a.l last won the Rose Bowl.
