That was really solid from the defense; they even nearly managed a block on the FG attempt.

Wow Bobby April and this defense and showing an absolute clinic out there. Very impressed so far.

10-3 Stanford after the Syracuse field goal.
I'd like to see Stanford *now* try some of the trickiness that TT loves to employ as a playcaller. The high risk is worth it because if Stanford scores a TD somehow on this next drive, the Cardinal suddenly are in a *great* position to win this game. Syracuse clearly expecting a quick pass game (based on how that DB jumped the route to snag the INT), so time to really, really be aggressive, imo.

Terrible throw (though I might even argue what was worse was how much he stared down his receiver), and like a couple of times during the TCU game, putting the defense in a terrible position.
Hopefully he will learn from those errors.

I wonder if Daniels (or any quarterback) can be taught to process faster?

Kyle McCord is a good college QB. Unfortunately, he is (a lot) better than our QB.

That is post is not going to age well.
Here we go. Two minute drill. Davis with a long run. Gotta score here. Cuse gets the ball to start the 3rd Q.

McCord threw for 3000+ yards in a single season at Ohio State while averaging over 9 yards per attempt. Daniels in three seasons at Stanford has averaged fewer than 7 yards per attempt every season.
We may win tonight, but it will likely be if it happens because we are better at other positions (like defensively or at wide receiver). Daniels has a long way to even approach the stats McCord put up last year (more than just winning tonight). Some Stanford fans are calling for Brown to start; there is no QB controversy at Cuse.
