Daejon Davis/Isaac White/Dorian Pickens/Travis/Humphrey as the starting five. Interesting (and surprising) that Cartwright is benched, at least for this game.

Started off loosey-goosey, going down 6-2. But after a ferocious Humphrey block the team is playing fast, but under control, and is now up 16-8. Moving the ball well, nice shooting, movement, etc. Humphrey has been swallowing up everything on the defensive end (both blocks and rebounds), and is trying to stretch the floor with outside shooting.

Cartwright came in quite early. I missed even seeing White out there.

Stanford up 25-10 now. White showed some surprising hops on a lob play on the fast break. Da Silva came in as well and looked like he'll be a defensive threat to guard any frontcourt position.
Travis is driving a bit and passing -- he's diversified his game beyond the well-publicized shooting.

25-14. Seem to be experimenting a bit now: on defense, extending it out beyond the three point line to trap and pressure the ballhandler. It looks theoretically understandable -- Haase can roll out some lineups with five guys with quick feet -- but maybe not all the way there in terms of execution. Da Silva needs to get stronger; he's had some problems rebounding.

40-22 with two Stanford free throws pending. So far very good, with caveats that I'd like fewer turnovers and stronger rebounding.

53-31 at halftime. Lots to like about the team.

53-31 at halftime. Stanford was 19-19 at the line, but also hit 47% from the field, so it was really a quite well-rounded effort offensively.
Defensively, I'm a bit concerned how the team will cope without Humphrey, who looks much better than his backups, but otherwise pretty solid. Some rather puzzling breakdowns, but I'd assume that'll get cleaned up.

Here's a stat we didn't see under Dawkins. 15 baskets 11 assists
